2024年度第6回ゼロカーボンエネルギー研究所コロキウム "NuMBAC2025 核燃料サイクルシミュレーションの信頼性向上と国内外情勢を踏まえた高度化" （English below）
【概要】第7次エネルギー基本計画（原案）が公開され、日本でのGXの実現に向けて原子力の活用方針が示され、それに向けた政策議論や、研究開発の基盤となるシナリオ研究の重要性が一層増している。NuMBAC（ナンバック）は、核燃料サイクルシミュレーション（諸量評価）に関する研究コミュニティであり、毎年ワークショップを開催してきた。4回目となる今回は、日本原子力学会「原子力将来シナリオの諸量評価技術 研究専門委員会」との共同開催（予定）として、原子力利用シナリオ、諸量評価、シミュレータ開発、シミュレータのV&V、専門委員会での活動内容等を広く議論する。また、第2部「高度な核燃料サイクルシミュレーションに向けた国内外情勢と取組み」においては、第7次エネルギー基本計画（原案）や国際的な視点からの核燃料サイクルシミュレーションに関する講演を予定している。

第二部 高度な核燃料サイクルシミュレーションに向けた国内外情勢と取組み 講演１：第7次エネルギー基本計画における原子力の位置づけ 講演者：松尾 雄司 立命館アジア太平洋大学 教授 概要：本報告では、第7次エネルギー基本計画策定に際して行われた経済性評価ならびに数理モデル分析を概説し、2040年・2050年のエネルギーミックスの中における原子力の位置づけについて考察を行う。
講演２：再構築の時：これからの核燃料サイクル・シミュレーション 講演者：室谷 展寛 経済協力開発機構／原子力機関（OECD／NEA）事務局次長 概要：原子力・事業環境は急速に変化・複雑化し、その影響力が高まった結果、外部環境分析から孤立した 「技術シナリオ」検討の価値が問われている。環境要因と技術シナリオ分析を相互連結することで、 特定の環境下に最適な技術オプションの提示、またその逆の分析が可能となる。
講演３：（仮）OECD／NEA WPFC Expert Group on Advanced Fuel Cycle Scenarios (EGAFCS) 講演者：Francisco Alvarez-Velarde, CIEMAT (Centro de Investigaciones Energeticas,Medioambientales y Tecnologicas), Shahab Dabiran 経済協力開発機構／原子力機関（OECD／NEA）

6th Zero Carbon Energy Institute Colloquium, FY 2024 "NuMBAC2025: Benchmarking and Utilization of Nuclear Fuel Cycle Simulator"
【Overview】Following the publication of the draft 7th Basic Energy Plan, Japan's policy on utilizing nuclear power towards achieving GX has been outlined, emphasizing the importance of scenario research as a foundation for policy discussions and R&D. NuMBAC (Nuclear Material Balance Analysis Community), a research community focused on nuclear fuel cycle simulation, has held annual workshops. This fourth session, planning co-hosted with the Atomic Energy Society of Japan's "Research Committee on Fuel Cycle Analysis Technique for Future Nuclear Scenarios," will broadly discuss nuclear utilization scenarios, quantity evaluations, simulator development, simulator V&V, and the committee's activities. The second part, "Domestic and International Situations", will feature lectures on the draft 7th Basic Energy Plan and international perspectives on nuclear fuel cycle simulations.
